NC State Releases Equine Science AR App

Measuring the respiration rate is one of the three wellness checks performed in the TPR app.

As part of a DELTA Grant project CALS, the College of Veterinary Medicine, and University Extension developed and released an augmented reality app that allows users to get experience with three key aspects of an equine wellness exam: measuring a horse’s temperature, pulse, and respiration rate. The app is free to download and available on the Google Play store as well as the Apple App Store now!
